NEW FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE FOR RATOATH HARPS!

NEW FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE FOR RATOATH HARPS!

The new committee has come together to raise funds for the new clubhouse

Ratoath Harps are delighted to announce that a new fundraising committee has been established with the ultimate goal of raising much needed funds towards the completion of the new clubhouse.

The committee of 6 volunteers comprises of Janice Smith, Grainne Looney, Ciaran Keller, Gillian Tatten, Tina Gill and Olivia Cannon. Each committee member is a parent of a child/children who are a member of Ratoath Harps. This is very welcome news for the club and our members and we hope that you will all support their efforts in whatever way you can.

Plans are already well underway for lots of exciting, fun and practical ways of raising cash!

The first initiative is the opening the Tuck Shop which will sell hot drinks and snacks during match days (assistance required if anyone would like to help out!) A Clothing Collection will take place from the 11th – 15th March where the club will benefit from the funds raised from the recycling of old clothes. A new competition will be launched this month to enter and guess the time of the “First Goal Scored at the Liverpool v Tottenham” game.

Over the Easter School Holidays the committee hope to organise a Kids Soccer Camp from the 15-18 April, more information on costs and booking information will follow soon.

In the past few weeks, there has been €2300 raised from the ‘Buy a Brick’ initiative. There’s lots and lots more planned for the rest of the year and more information will follow in due course, but here is a little taste of what the committee have in store:

• Pub Quiz • Family Fun Run • Silent Auction with a Twist! • Ratoath Village Family Fun Day • Halloween Leg Wax – Scary! • A Night with Football Legends Ronnie Whelan & Dermot Gallagher • Member Kids Christmas Party – Santa Claus is coming to town!

Please get involved and take part in these great activities as much as you can.

Not only will they help to raise the funds that we need to complete the clubhouse, but they’ll be great fun too! We are very excited.

We hope you are too!
